2011 Baseball Awards
The Paul Brindle MVP award was presented to Josh Conant and Brian Bonacquisti. Anthony Jones was named winner of the Duke Doucette award as the outstanding pitcher. Tanner Murray was presented the Vincent Hebert age 13 sportsmanship award. Jerry McDonough was named the Lou Russo sportsmanship for age 14 and Adam Brickle was awarded the Colin Keegan award for age 15 sportsmanship. Ann Veinotte was presented with the Jim Hassett volunteer of the year award.
2011 City Champions
Reynold's beat Service Master 10-0 to win the champioship. Mike Perkett pounded a 2run HR and Joe Gratton pitched 6 strong innings for the shut out to lead Reynold's to the win.
2012 Registration
Player registration will be held at the Boys and Girls Club on March 3 and 4 from 9am to 12pm on Saturday and 12-2 pm on Sunday. ALL players ( new and returning) who wish to play in the 2012 season must register. This will be the only registration days. Contact Matthew Conant at 499-8635 for information.
2012 New Bat Rules
Please note: Bat may not exceed 34" in length. May not exceed 2-5/8" in diameter. All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and composite handle only aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed. Only composite barrel bats certified and marked BBCOR.50 are allowed. If you need help selecting a bat for this year please visit Reynolds Team Sales for help.
TRY OUTS 2012
Try outs for all new players will be held at PHS gym on March 31 and April 1 from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. New players must attend one day. Players must bring glove. If weather is good we will go outside.
